Recommendations from Morris the Morristown Centennial Library Moose

Hi, I'm Morris, and I live at the Morristown Centennial Library. You will see me sitting on top of the spinning book shelf in the children's room! We have lots of good books at the library. I want to tell you about some of my favorite new books!

Forever Friends by Carin Berger
"Hello! Come play!" is how bird greets bunny after the long winter. Bunny and bird become friends and play all through the spring, summer, and into late fall. When winter comes, it's time for bird to fly south. Bird and Bunny miss each other all through the winter. But when spring comes back, Bird once again greets Bunny with a "Hello! Come Play!" Even though the seasons change, Bird and Bunny are forever friends.

My Garden by kevin Henkes
A girl helps her mother water weed the garden, and imagines what it would be like if she had her own garden. In her garden, she'd plant and grow seashells, flowers would grow back right after you picked them, and tomatoes would grow as bug as beach balls. Come imagine a whole new kind of garden!

Zoo Day Ole! : A Counting Book by Phillis Gershator
